Fabrication
Icebox operates a fabrication shop for custom sheet-metal ductwork. Duct sections, fittings, transitions, and plenums are fabricated in-house to project specifications. In-house fabrication allows Icebox to control quality, lead times, and fit-up accuracy for each project.
Installation
Icebox installs ductwork for new construction, tenant build-outs, and system replacements. Installation includes hangers, supports, sealing, insulation, and connections to HVAC equipment. All ductwork installation follows the approved mechanical design and applicable building codes.
Fire-suppression systems and fire-suppression-related ductwork are outside the scope of Icebox Mechanical Corp's services.
Modification & Rerouting
For existing buildings, Icebox performs ductwork modifications, extensions, and rerouting to accommodate tenant changes, equipment replacements, and system reconfigurations. Modifications are field-measured, fabricated to match existing system specs, and installed to maintain proper airflow throughout the system.
Air Balancing
Icebox performs air balancing to verify and adjust airflow distribution across duct systems. Balancing is performed after installation or modification to ensure each zone receives the airflow specified in the mechanical design. Proper balancing supports consistent temperature control and system efficiency.
Fire-suppression systems are outside the scope of Icebox Mechanical Corp's services. Icebox does not design, install, service, or modify fire-suppression systems.
