About Icebox Mechanical Corp.
A commercial HVAC contractor built on consistency, accountability, and depth of craft.
Consistency delivered, benchmarks upheld.
Our Story
Icebox Mechanical Corp was founded in 2023 alongside its sister company, Toolbox CM. The two-company structure was deliberate from day one: Toolbox CM handles construction management, while Icebox focuses exclusively on commercial HVAC. This architect sub-contractor model allows each entity to operate with deep specialization rather than spreading thin across disciplines.
The reasoning was straightforward. Commercial HVAC demands focused expertise in mechanical systems, code compliance, manufacturer relationships, and field execution. By keeping HVAC under its own roof, Icebox maintains the technical depth and operational accountability that commercial clients require.
Our Team Approach
Icebox operates with a lean, skilled crew. Every technician carries OSHA 30-Hour certification and receives ongoing manufacturer-specific training across all major equipment lines. The team is structured around direct communication: technicians report findings clearly, project managers coordinate with building owners and engineers, and leadership stays involved in day-to-day operations.
This is not a company where field teams operate in isolation. Crews are trained to document thoroughly, escalate appropriately, and maintain the standard of work that each project demands.
Service Philosophy
Icebox is built around a simple operating principle: do the work correctly, document it thoroughly, and stand behind what gets installed. Commercial HVAC is not a field where shortcuts pay off. Systems that are poorly designed, improperly installed, or inadequately maintained create cascading problems for building owners and tenants.
Every project follows a consistent process: proper load calculations, manufacturer- recommended installation practices, thorough commissioning, and documented handoff. Maintenance agreements include real reporting, not just checkbox inspections.
